Andrea is an experienced Spanish and English tutor. Coming from a Venezuelan family, her first language was Spanish and she took Spanish classes all throughout middle school and high school. In June of 2016, she began working as a private spanish tutor, and over the years has helped over 40 students in the Tampa area better their language skills. She was the 2018 president of her high school’s Spanish Honor Society and competed in the Florida State Spanish Conference in 2017 and 2018. English is her favorite subject in high school and she received the AP scholar award in 2018 from the English AP classes she took. Andrea’s hobbies include traveling, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends.

Michelle

Tutor

Michelle is a very responsible and patient tutor of English and Spanish, committed to help in the areas of grammar, writing and spelling. Coming from a family of Hondurans, she was born in Chicago. In High school she became more interested in English and decided to take advantage of both languages, belonging to the ESL program where she served as a translator among students who had recently arrived from Hispanic countries. She has always liked to help, meet new people and their diverse cultures. Her first language is Spanish, which she speaks daily at home, at work and with friends. English has also been part of her life since she was a child. Michelle has experience tutoring since in her adolescence she helped her mother prepare the classes she taught at universities in Honduras. Her hobbies are going to church, reading, traveling, meeting new people, sharing time with family and friends.

Valeria

Tutor

Valeria is a hardworking English and Spanish tutor. Coming from a Colombian immigrant family her first language was Spanish and still uses it to this day with family, friends,school and work. She has taken Spanish classes throughout high school, has gotten honor roll every year and is also in the medical academy. In high school she has done over 40 community service hours just through helping other students in Spanish class. English is also one of her favorite classes, she enjoys it very much and helps others with reading comprehension, vocabulary and much more! She has experience tutoring not only other students in English but also her own family arriving from Colombia. Her hobbies consist of learning about anatomy/physiology, trying new places to eat, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.
